Yoga, retreats, meaningful experiences and plant - based nourishment with Julia & Muni
We are Julia and Muni, yoga teachers based in Wellington, New Zealand, united by a shared belief that yoga is far more than a physical practice.
For us, yoga is a way of living. It influences how we move, eat, connect with others and navigate the demands of everyday life. Through our teaching, we aim to share practices that support not only physical wellbeing, but also greater awareness, balance and presence.
Together, we offer yoga classes, workshops, retreats and experiences designed to help people slow down, reconnect with themselves and cultivate sustainable wellbeing.
Our approach combines dynamic movement, breath awareness, mindful living and the simple joy of sharing good food and meaningful conversations. Whether in a local yoga class, a workshop or an intimate retreat in Bali, our intention remains the same: to create welcoming spaces where people can explore yoga beyond the mat and return home feeling more connected, grounded and inspired.
What We Offer
Weekly Yoga Classes
We teach regular classes in Wellington, offering a variety of styles rooted in the traditions of yoga and adapted to meet students where they are. Our classes focus on mindful movement, breath awareness, strength, mobility and cultivating a sustainable long-term practice.
Workshops & Special Events
Throughout the year we host workshops that allow for deeper exploration of yoga philosophy, movement, breathwork, nervous system regulation and practical tools for everyday wellbeing.
Retreats
Our retreats are intentionally small and personal, combining yoga, nature, nourishing food and cultural experiences. Designed for those seeking rest, connection and a slower pace of life, these experiences provide an opportunity to step away from routine and reconnect with what matters most.
Plant-Based Living
As long-time advocates of plant-based living, we are passionate about sharing nourishing approaches to food that support both wellbeing and sustainability. Our retreats and events celebrate wholesome, flavourful meals inspired by local ingredients and mindful eating practices.
Our Philosophy
We believe wellbeing is not built through quick fixes or extremes. It is cultivated through simple daily practices that are repeated consistently over time.
Movement.
Breath.
Rest.
Nourishment.
Connection.
These principles guide both our personal lives and the experiences we create for others.
Our hope is that everyone who joins us leaves with something valuable—whether that is a stronger yoga practice, a greater sense of balance, meaningful friendships or simply a reminder to slow down and appreciate life's simple moments.
